1. CBD is 1 of over 113 other cannabinoids

2. CBD isn’t psychoactive
CBD is one of the non-psychoactive cannabinoids that doesn’t cause a high. Unlike THC, CBD doesn’t have any mind-altering psychoactive effects. Instead, it has relaxing and calming effects.
3. There are 3 main types of CBD
1) Full Spectrum: May contain up to 0.3% of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the cannabinoid in the cannabis plant that produces the ‘high’ feeling people may feel. However, with such a low amount it is not strong enough to have significant psychoactive effects.
2) Broad Spectrum: Is very similar to full spectrum CBD in that it contains additional cannabis plant compounds. Most broad-spectrum CBD products have zero trace amounts of THC.
3) Isolate: A pure form of CBD. It contains no other cannabis plant compound. It usually comes from hemp plants, which typically contain very low amounts of THC. CBD isolate is a crystal form of CBD.
